Q. How do I get my figures painted?
A. First of all,
contact me via this website, with a rough idea of what you'd like painted, and I'll get back to you. Unfortunately I can't take on everyone's painting as I'm usually very busy!
Q. How much will it cost?
A. This depends on the figures to be painted. Most of what I paint is done in what's called the three tone or "Foundry" style, for a 28mm figure this will cost between £15-£20 depending on complexity. I can also paint figures to other styles, let me know exactly what you want and I'll give you a quote.
Q. Is basing included in the price?
A. Yes, but if you want something with loads of extra detail it might cost more!
Q. What paints and varnish do you use?
A. I use various acrylic paints, followed by a coat of gloss polyurethane varnish (for protection) and then a coat of matt to finish.
Q. How long will it take?
A. This depends on how much of a backlog I have at the time, so it's best to contact me before sending an order. It can take anything from 2-5 months, but hopefully it'll be worth the wait!
Q. What about postage?
A. I post finished UK orders out via special delivery, and international orders are also insured. Cost will usually be between £5-£10 depending on the size of the parcel.
Q. How do I pay?
A. You can pay either by cheque, or via Paypal. When an order is near completion I'll contact you about payment. I cannot send any completed orders out without receiving payment.
